JAMMU: Career Abacus Coaching Centre (Unit of Career Abacus Educational Institutions), one of the leading Abacus teaching institutes in the region, organised a grand felicitation ceremony to honour its meritorious students. The event was held at the auditorium of Government Polytechnic College, Bikram Chowk, Jammu, and witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, parents, and education enthusiasts.

The Chief Guest of the occasion was Baldev Singh Billawaria, General Secretary, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) J&K, and former Deputy Mayor Jammu, among the distinguished guests present were Shiv Kumar Sharma-IPS, DIG Jammu-Samba-Kathua Range, Senior Journalist Manu Srivastava, Romesh Vaid (Ex-General Manager, J&K Grameen Bank), and Rajesh Gupta (President, Sadar Bazar Shopkeepers Association, Satwari), who graced the event with their presence and inspiring words.

Speaking on the occasion, Baldev Singh Billawaria lauded the commendable efforts of the institute in shaping young minds. He emphasised the importance of developing such skills in every child, stating that Abacus learning not only strengthens arithmetic ability but also enhances memory, listening skills, imagination, creativity, and above all, self-confidence.

He congratulated the prize winners and encouraged all students to continue striving for excellence and to make their parents and teachers proud. About 110 prizes were awarded to outstanding students from various stages of the Abacus program, recognising their hard work, dedication, and achievements. The proud parents of many students shared their personal experiences, narrating how their children have shown remarkable improvement in confidence, academic performance, and concentration after joining the institute. They expressed deep appreciation for the tireless efforts and personal attention given by the faculty and management of Career Abacus Coaching Centre. 

While addressing, Atul Gupta, Director of Career Abacus Coaching Centre, extended heartfelt gratitude to the dignitaries, parents and students. He highlighted the institute’s consistent efforts and initiatives aimed at holistic child development. Gupta also elaborated on various academic and co-curricular activities being undertaken by the institution to nurture analytical thinking, concentration, and creativity among young learners. A live demonstration by little Abacus learners mesmerised the audience with their lightning-fast calculations, exceptional accuracy, and sharp concentration.

The Chief Guest and the audience were visibly impressed by the extraordinary display of skill and intelligence, which drew rounds of applause from everyone present. Adding to the emotional and inspiring atmosphere, some outgoing students of the institute also shared their journey and heartfelt gratitude toward the teachers and mentors who guided them throughout their learning experience. The event was compered gracefully by Samridhi Mahajan, Aakarshan Mahajan, Shruti Gupta, and Rushil Mahajan, whose coordination and eloquence added charm to the proceedings. The program concluded on a patriotic note with the singing of the National Anthem, leaving everyone filled with pride and joy.
