JAMMU: In a vibrant cultural showcase aimed at promoting the rich artistic talent of Jammu & Kashmir, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) J&K General Secretary & former Deputy Mayor Jammu, Baldev Singh Billawaria along with BJP J&K General Secretary Smt. Sanjita Dogra, formally released the devotional song “MANDRE DE SHEAR.”
The devotional track has been sung and written by the talented young artist Vieshal Heer, whose soulful voice and expressive lyrics have given the song a unique cultural imprint. The music has been composed by SM Records Sachin, adding an energetic and contemporary musical layer that blends beautifully with traditional local flavour. The music video, directed and produced by RV Film Ricky, brings the song to life with stunning visuals and creative cinematic presentation.
Speaking on the occasion, Baldev Singh Billawaria extended his warm congratulations to the entire team behind the project and highlighted the crucial role of such initiatives in promoting local talent. He stated that platforms like these not only bring forward the artistic brilliance of young creators but also contribute significantly to strengthening the cultural identity and devotional heritage of Jammu & Kashmir.
He added that BJP is committed to encouraging youth initiatives and supporting the growth of regional art, culture, and music. Such endeavours, he emphasised, help in nurturing the artistic potential of the youth and provide them with opportunities to shine on larger platforms. He further said that in Jammu and Kashmir, devotional songs of gods and goddesses are played during every religious ritual or ceremony whether it is Jagrata, Langar, Seva, Puja or other religious rituals.
During the release ceremony, Sanjita Dogra also lauded the efforts of the artists and production team, noting that the devotional song is a testament to the creative excellence emerging from the region. She said that promoting local content is essential to preserving the cultural fabric of Jammu & Kashmir and inspiring more young artists to explore their talents.
The event was also graced by Bjp senior leader Shashi Goswami & Maa Bawe Wali Records (MD) Sahil Mahajan. They appreciated the support and encouragement extended by the BJP leadership towards local artists and cultural initiatives.
