SHOPIAN: Ayush Department Shopian today organised a series of health-oriented activities across the district aimed at strengthening public awareness, promoting healthy lifestyles and enhancing the capacity of frontline health workers.
A training session for Multipurpose Health Workers (MPHWs) was held on Public Health Programmes under the guidance of Dr. Javaid Ahmad Wani, District Nodal Officer Ayush Shopian. The session focused on improving community-level health delivery and equipping the workers with knowledge on preventive healthcare.
Simultaneously, the team of Ayushman Arogya Mandir Turkwangam Shopian conducted a Free Awareness Camp on diarrheal diseases in children, highlighting early symptoms, preventive measures, and the importance of timely medical intervention.
In line with the national vision of fostering a drug-free society, a Yoga session under the theme âNasha Mukht Bharatâ was organised at Ayushman Arogya Mandir (Ayush) Keegam. The session was led by a Yoga Instructor, who demonstrated various asanas and breathing techniques beneficial for mental and physical well-being.
