KATRA: Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) has achieved a remarkable milestone with Ms. JuhiKumari, a student of the School of Architecture (session 2014-19), being selected by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for the prestigious post of Deputy Architect (Group A) in the Central Public Works Department, Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs. Ms. JuhiKumari secured an impressive All India Rank of 32 in the examination, showcasing her exceptional skills and knowledge in the field of architecture.
Furthermore, she topped the Assistant Architect examination conducted by the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC), securing the highest marks in written and ranking 5th.In the same examination, Ms. Trikuti Mishra, a student of the School of Architecture (session 2018-23), achieved a commendable rank of 82nd.
Notably, both students had also excelled in the GATE examination, securing good ranks.Ms. JuhiKumari and Ms. Trikuti Mishra attributed their success to the guidance and mentorship provided by Ar. Vinod Kumar, Assistant Professor at the School of Architecture, SMVDU.
The Vice Chancellor of SMVDU, Prof. Pragati Kumar, along with Ar. Abhiney Gupta (Head, School of Architecture and Landscape Design), Ar.
