REASI: Deputy Commissioner Reasi Nidhi Malik convened a meeting of the District Level Committee today to review the Change of Land Use (CLU) cases in the district. The meeting aimed to streamline the process of land use conversion while ensuring compliance with legal and environmental norms. During the meeting, 18 cases were presented for discussion. Following thorough deliberation on various policy aspects, the committee approved 3 cases, deferred 5 cases and rejected 10 cases.
Reviewing the status of NOCs issued to applicants, the Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned departments to ensure timely issuance of NOCs as per the rules. She emphasized that all 'change of land use' cases should be processed within the stipulated time frame without unnecessary delays or hurdles in genuine cases. The meeting was attended By ACR Nitin Verma, ACD Vijay Kumar, Executive Engineers of PWD, Jal Shakti and other concerned officers.
