JAMMU: Prof. Umesh Rai, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu, today released a book titled “Innovation and Sustainable Business Development – A Multidisciplinary Perspective.”
The book release function was graced by Prof. Neelu Rohmetra, Dean Research Studies, University of Jammu; Prof. J. P. Singh Joorel, Dean Academic Affairs, University of Jammu; Dr. Neeraj Sharma, Registrar, University of Jammu; Prof. Hardeep Chahal, Director, ICccR & HRM; Prof. Gurjeet Kaur, Department of Commerce and Dr. Isha Sharma, Sr. Assistant Professor, ICccR & HRM, University of Jammu.
The Book Release Function was organised by the International Centre for Cross Cultural Research and Human Resource Management (ICccR & HRM), University of Jammu. The book is a collection of 14 edited conference papers published by Bloomsbury. Pertinent to mention that the contributors of the book are affiliated with and associated with institutions of national and international repute. The book highlights contemporary perspectives on innovation, sustainability, and emerging trends in business development, reflecting the University’s continued commitment to promoting impactful research and academic collaboration.
The book is an outcome of the International Conference on Innovation and Sustainability that was held in the year 2024 by the department of ICccR & HRM in collaboration with the University of South Pacific, Fiji, as part of the MOU between the University of South Pacific, Fiji & ICccR & HRM, University of Jammu, and set the tone for the 2nd International Conference on Innovation and Sustainability in Business Development under the theme, “Future of Work: Global Institutions, Policy, Practices & Perspectives,” in the year 2026, organised by the department of ICccR & HRM in collaboration with California State University, San Bernardino, USA; the University of South Pacific, Fiji and the Directorate of Industries and Commerce, Jammu.
The event was attended by faculty members of the International Centre for Cross Cultural Research and Human Resource Management (ICccR & HRM), including Dr. Neha, Dr. Bhanu, Dr. Swati, Dr. Shivani, and Dr. Parul.
