Health checkup, TB screening camp held at NTPHC Pranoo; 42 Hand-Held X-Rays conducted

DODA: A General Health Check-up-cum-TB Screening Camp was organised today at NTPHC Pranoo, Block Ghat, under the National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme (NTEP). During the camp, around 90 patients were screened by the health team for general health conditions and tuberculosis.

As part of the active TB detection initiative, 42 on-the-spot hand-held X-ray examinations were also conducted to facilitate early identification of presumptive TB cases and ensure timely referral for further diagnostic evaluation and treatment. A team of doctors comprising Dr. Nasir Masood Indrabi and Dr. Nasir Hussain, along with NTPHC staff delivered screening and healthcare services.

His pioneering work in networked systems, AI, robotics and biomedical applications—especially computer-vision tools for early detection of cancer and heart disease—reflected his deep belief that advanced technology must serve humanity.

For more than 15 years at JK Monitor, he remained a loyal friend, mentor and collaborator, marked by rare humility, intellectual integrity and quiet generosity. His passing leaves a void that cannot be filled. Priya, you will be deeply missed. Your life continues to remind us that knowledge finds its highest purpose in the service of others.
