DODA: Deputy Commissioner Doda Krishan Lal today visited Pul Doda to assess the situation following continuous rainfall and reviewed the water level of the Chenab River. The Deputy Commissioner directed all departments concerned to remain on alert, monitor vulnerable areas closely and ensure a prompt response to any emergency. He instructed officers to maintain coordination with field staff and ensure essential services remain functional. The DC also appealed to the public to remain cautious, avoid unnecessary travel to vulnerable areas and stay away from riverbanks, nallahs, gorges and other vulnerable locations during the rainy season.

Among those who accompanied the Deputy Commissioner were Additional Deputy Commissioner Doda, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Doda, Additional Superintendent of Police Doda, Assistant Commissioner Development Doda and officers from various engineering wings.
