REASI: Deputy Commissioner Reasi Kumar Abhishek today inspected District Hospital Reasi to review healthcare services, patient care facilities and the overall functioning of the hospital. The inspection focused on assessing availability of medical services, patient amenities and the functioning of various departments within the hospital.

The Deputy Commissioner interacted with hospital authorities and reviewed arrangements in place for providing quality healthcare services to the public. He also inspected different wards and facilities to ensure high standards of hygiene, patient care and efficient service delivery.

The Deputy Commissioner inspected ongoing works on the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) building and reviewed progress on its operationalisation. He directed officers concerned to identify essential infrastructure and equipment requirements for the unit and instructed them to prepare a Detailed Project Report (DPR) for additional facilities required so the unit can be made fully functional at the earliest.

The officials briefed the Deputy Commissioner on the status of repair and maintenance work on the hospital lift and oxygen generation plant. The Deputy Commissioner assured that the matter would be taken up with the Director Health Services for early resolution. Among those accompanying the Deputy Commissioner were ADC Rakesh Kumar, CMO Dr Mohd Ashraf Kolhi, CPO and other officers.
