JAMMU: Following the resignation by the Dharmendra Pradhan, Dr. Hari Dutt Shishu emphasized his sensitiveness towards the issue, who ensured the effective mechanism to curb the culprits, before submitting his resignation.
Dr. Shishu said that under Shri Pradhan’s leadership as Union Education Minister, India witnessed historic reforms in education. "From the successful implementation of the National Education Policy 2020 to strengthening of IITs, IIMs, NITs, and promoting mother tongue-based learning, skill development and digital education, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan gave a new direction and dignity to Indian education. His focus on making education accessible, affordable and future-ready has empowered crores of students across the country," Dr. Shishu stated.
He further said that Shri Pradhan’s tenure ensured that the youth of Jammu & Kashmir also benefited from central schemes, new institutions, and a curriculum aligned with national aspirations.
On the political front, Dr. Shishu said that Dharmender Pardhan's action of taking moral responsibility has sent a message loud and clear that BJP will never allow our young generations to be used by the disgruntled forces inimical to the sovereignty and integrity of our nation."
Naming RahulGandhi,Arvind Kejriwal, Akhilesh Yadav,Arundhati Roy,Yogendra Yadav, Chander Shekhar Ravan ,Rakesh Tikait, and their ilk, Dr. Shishu alleged that these elements, having been repeatedly rejected by the people through democratic ballots, are now trying to regain political space by exploiting the energy of the nation’s youth and students.
"These elements thrive on an anarchic mindset. Having failed to convince voters, they are now resorting to campus politics and propaganda to create confusion among young minds," Dr. Shishu stated.
He also exposed the Congress party for using students for political mileage. "Congress ignored the genuine needs of students when in power, and now in opposition they are joining hands with disruptive forces to mislead youth for short-term gains," he said.
Contrasting this, Dr. Shishu highlighted the genuine concern of the Government towards youth and students. "The Modi Government, building on the foundation laid by leaders like Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, has placed youth at the center of nation-building. Through NEP, Skill India, Start-up India, and massive investment in educational infrastructure, our students are being prepared to lead a Viksit Bharat," he said.
"The Government remains committed to providing a safe, progressive and opportunity-rich environment in educational institutions. We will not allow anti-national narratives to hijack the future of our students," Dr. Shishu added. He concluded by saying that India’s youth are aspirational and patriotic, and stand firmly with development, nationalism, and a strong and sovereign Bharat.
