DODA: The Deputy Commissioner Doda, Harvinder Singh, inaugurated a job fair organized by the District Employment and Counselling Centre Doda with the aim of providing employment opportunities to the local community and bridging the gap between job seekers and employers. During his speech at the inauguration ceremony, the DC Doda highlighted the importance of such initiatives in boosting employment rates and improving the overall economic condition of the district.

He expressed gratitude to all participating companies for their active involvement in this critical event. The job fair witnessed an overwhelming response from both employers and job seekers. Over 15 companies from various industries actively participated in the fair, offering more than 350 vacancies across different domains. Job seekers had a unique opportunity to engage in on-the-spot interviews and secure immediate placement with potential employers.

In addition to providing direct employment opportunities, attendees were also informed about registration on an employment portal that will enable them to access future job openings conveniently. The participants were educated about various self-employment schemes available within the district as well. To further enhance career aspirations among attendees, a career counseling workshop was also conducted during the event.
