BUDGAM: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, Akshay Labroo along with SSP Budgam, Nikhal Borkar today participated in the Ashoora procession taken out near Imambara Mirgund Budgam. They also held Alam besides walking alongside the Taziyah in solidarity with all the mourners.
On the occasion, the DC and SSP also participated in serving water and other refreshments to the mourners. Adequate medical facilities, refreshment services, civic amenities and foolproof security measures were made to ensure smooth conduct of the procession.
