SAMBA: A comprehensive training session for Zonal and Sector Magistrates responsible for overseeing the General Assembly Elections 2024 was conducted today at the Conference Hall, District Administrative Complex, Nandini Hill, Samba.

The session was organized under the supervision of District Election Officer Rajesh Sharmaand coordinated by Ranjeet Singh, the Nodal Officer for Training Management. The training was facilitated by Vikas Anand and Ajay Charak, Senior Lecturers as the District Level Master Trainers (DLMT).

The training focused on equipping the participants with essential skills for managing the election process, including detailed instructions on election management, operational protocols, and hands-on experience with Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs). The session was attended by all designated officials ensuring  comprehensive preparedness for the upcoming elections.

The Nodal officer emphasized the importance of adhering to established rules and regulations to ensure free, fair, and transparent elections in the district. The training session also featured a question-and-answer segment, allowing participants to clear any doubts and gain a deeper understanding of their responsibilities. The Master Trainers provided thorough explanations, reinforcing the participants' knowledge of election procedures and rules.
