• CNMS invites applications for “NaMo Viksit Bharat Samvad” 12 session internship programme; deadline June 13

NEW DELHI: The Centre for NaMo Studies (CNMS) has announced the launch of the NaMo Viksit Bharat Samvad 12 session offline Internship Programme, a unique national-level opportunity for students, research scholars, and young professionals to actively participate in one of India's most significant intellectual dialogue initiatives focused on the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.

The internship is linked to the 12-session National Seminar Series titled “NaMo Viksit Bharat Samvad” on the occasion of 12 Years of Shri Narendra Modi Government: scheduled to be held from 18 June to 17 September 2026 at the Dr Ambedkar International Centre, Janpath, New Delhi.

The internship programme is being organised by CNMS in collaboration with the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), Ministry of Education, Government of India, and the Dr Ambedkar International Centre (DAIC), Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India.

Announcing the programme, Prof. Jasim Mohammad, Chairman, Centre for NaMo Studies, said that the initiative is designed to create a new generation of informed, responsible, and nation-oriented youth leaders who can contribute meaningfully to India's journey towards becoming a developed nation by 2047.

"The idea behind this internship is not merely to provide students with a certificate or event experience. We want young minds to understand the processes of policy discussions, public engagement, research, governance, and nation-building. The future of Viksit Bharat will be shaped by today's youth, and they must be actively involved in the national discourse," Prof. Jasim Mohammad said.

He emphasized that the internship will provide practical exposure to programme planning, event management, research support, documentation, technical operations, outreach, communication, and the execution of national-level seminars and conferences.

Highlighting the broader vision of the programme, Prof. Mohammad stated: "NaMo Viksit Bharat Samvad is not just a seminar series. It is a national intellectual movement aimed at identifying achievements, challenges, and future priorities on the road to Viksit Bharat 2047. We want interns to become stakeholders in this journey and develop a deeper understanding of governance, development, social transformation, and public policy."

Co Convener Prof Divya Tanwar said,  students from universities and colleges across Delhi participate enthusiastically. Applications for the offline 12 days internship programme are open until 13 June 2026. Since the number of positions is limited, applications will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to suitability and availability.
