A Voter Registration Camp was organised at Vridh Ashram to facilitate eligible individuals in the Voter registration process. The camp aimed to create awareness about electoral participation and assist eligible persons in exercising their democratic rights.

The initiative highlighted the importance of ensuring that eligible citizens are aware of and able to access the voter registration process, thereby promoting informed and inclusive participation in democracy.

A malaria prevention and vector control activity was also conducted at the Ashram by the Malariology Department. The activity included spraying and other preventive measures to help control mosquito breeding and reduce the risk of mosquito-borne diseases.

The initiative reflects the institution’s emphasis on maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment for its residents, staff, and visitors. Such preventive public health measures are particularly important in residential care institutions, where the health and well-being of elderly residents remain a priority.

Through these initiatives, Home for the Aged & Infirm (Vridh Ashram), Ambphalla, Jammu, reaffirmed its commitment to social welfare, public health, civic awareness, and the dignity of vulnerable individuals.
