In Pattan Subdivision, the MP led the meeting alongside the SDM and senior officials. He highlighted the need for a dedicated trauma hospital in Pattan, urging the government to expedite its establishment and keep it separate from Community Health Centre (CHC), for which he demanded upgradation to Sub District Hospital.

They assured him that the majority of water supply projects would be completed within the current financial year, providing much-needed relief to residents across the Pattan constituency.

Later, in Uri Subdivision, Er Rashid chaired a review meeting with senior officers and engineering departments. He directed the Rural Development Department (RDD) to identify land in four locations within the Subdivision to establish playgrounds for youth. He also sanctioned Rs. 3 lakhs from MPLAD funds for a library for students and civil service aspirants and requested that RDD to add a sanitary complex to this facility.

Power infrastructure needs were also a key focus, with Er Rashid advocating for upgrades to receiving stations and an increase in Boniyar’s transformer capacity from 6.3 MVA to 10 MVA. To address environmental concerns in Niloosa and nearby areas affected by limestone mining, the MP instructed the District Mineral Officer to ask mining leaseholders to improve road conditions and control pollution in the area.
