Emphasising the importance of clean and renewable energy, the Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned departments and stakeholders to intensify their efforts and expedite the installation of rooftop solar systems. He stressed the need for coordinated action, regular monitoring and time-bound implementation to ensure that the benefits of the scheme reach all eligible households.

The Deputy Commissioner called for a comprehensive public awareness campaign to educate people about the benefits of rooftop solar energy, the registration process, available financial assistance and the procedure for availing the scheme. He directed the concerned agencies to provide proper guidance and handholding to applicants, particularly those facing difficulties during registration and installation.
