In loving memory of Dr. Priya Ranjan: A mentor who treated me like family

SAMBA: Continuing the devotional celebrations of Navratri, the Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), Samba Centre organised a Bhajan Sandhya here at the revered Chichi Mata Temple on the fifth day of the festival, bringing devotees together in an atmosphere of spiritual fervour and religious devotion.

The programme featured soulful devotional songs and bhajans presented by artists of the Saraswati Sangeet Art & Culture group. Their melodious performances added to the spiritual ambience of the temple and enhanced the festive spirit of the auspicious occasion.

The initiative reflected DIPR Samba’s efforts to promote the region’s rich cultural and religious heritage, while providing a platform to local artists to showcase their talent and contribute to the preservation of traditional devotional music.

The event was organised under the supervision of District Information Officer Ekshu Sharma, as part of the ongoing Navratri celebrations. Officials and staff members of the Information Department, representatives associated with Chichi Mata Temple, devotees and members of the local community attended the programme and participated in the devotional gathering.

The Bhajan Sandhya concluded on a note of devotion and spiritual harmony, highlighting the significance of cultural traditions in fostering community participation and togetherness.
