DODA: A one-day orientation training programme on Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) was organised for RBSK staff of District Doda at the CMO Office Doda.
The orientation was attended by Medical Officers and paramedical staff from various medical blocks across the district. Among those present were Deputy Chief Medical Officer Doda Dr Sat Lal Manhas and District Health Officer Mohd Shafi Attu. Dr Tahir Muneeb Zargar, Dr Nasir Masood Indrabi and Dr Hamid Parray served as resource persons, conducting interactive sessions and live demonstrations on BLS and CPR.
Dr Manhas said timely and appropriate Basic Life Support could significantly improve patient outcomes during medical emergencies and urged participants to apply the techniques in their routine clinical practice. Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram is a national child health screening and early intervention programme under the National Health Mission that provides screening and free care for children, typically aged zero to eighteen years.
