GURUGRAM: Masters’ Union, India’s leading business and technology school, today announced a strategic partnership with Rabbitt AI, a London-based enterprise AI company, and The AI World Organisation (AIWO), a global nonprofit focused on inclusive and ethical AI adoption. The partnership will bring enterprise-grade AI problem-solving into the undergraduate classroom, giving students the opportunity to work on real-world AI projects in collaboration with industry practitioners and researchers.

The first cohort, launching this semester, will include ~50 students from Masters’ Union’s Undergraduate Programme in Data Science & Artificial Intelligence. The initiative will be extended to all the students enrolled across various programmes at Masters’ Union over the next few years. Students will have access to technical masterclasses, mentorship from CTOs, and high-impact applied project tracks in areas such as multilingual AI, autonomous agents, and vertical tools for sectors like healthcare, HR, and agriculture. These projects will be co-designed with Rabbitt AI’s technical team and mentored by members of AIWO’s global expert network. The programme will be delivered in an offline format, combining in-class instruction followed by hands-on projects . Students who participate in the programme will also receive a joint certificate from Masters’ Union and Rabbitt AI upon completion.

India currently faces a shortage of over 213,000 skilled AI professionals, particularly in foundational areas such as model building, data infrastructure, and algorithmic optimisation, according to a 2024 report by NASSCOM. While demand for AI products and services continues to grow, most of the talent entering the market is trained to use off-the-shelf tools rather than build them. This partnership aims to bridge that gap by embedding advanced AI capabilities including prompt engineering, agentic systems, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and the ethical design of intelligent systems, directly into the undergraduate experience. The goal is to prepare students not just to understand how AI works, but to architect and deploy solutions in enterprise and social contexts.

“This is a deliberate shift from tool usage to tool creation,” said Swati Ganeti, Director of Undergraduate Programmes at Masters’ Union. “It is no longer enough for students to be technically literate. They need to be able to identify and solve complex problems using AI as a first-principles technology. Our collaboration with Rabbitt AI and The AI World Organisation is designed to produce professionals who can design, test, and deploy intelligent systems inside organisations, not just use existing tools.”

Founded by Harneet Singh, serial entrepreneur and IIT-Delhi alumnus, Rabbitt AI is known for building autonomous agents and large language models tailored to enterprise needs, particularly in vernacular Indian languages. The company also leads the Bharat AI Yatra initiative, which seeks to identify and support emerging AI talent across India. Earlier this year, Masters’ Union along with Rabbitt AI hosted AI World Power 30 Summit at its Gurgaon campus, which convened over 200 leaders from across the HR and AI ecosystems.

Harneet Singh, Founder and Chief AI Officer at Rabbitt AI said, “India’s future AI leadership will come from students who can build from scratch, not those who merely adapt what already exists. Through this partnership, we are exposing undergraduates to the technical and contextual realities of enterprise-grade AI; whether it’s building an intelligent agent for a public health system or fine-tuning a multilingual LLM for agricultural extension services. The goal is to offer them a deep dive into the problems the world is already trying to solve.”

This partnership reflects Masters’ Union’s long-term commitment to building a robust and industry-aligned AI talent pipeline in India. It also represents a broader shift, where higher education is increasingly moving beyond theoretical instruction to hands-on learning, enterprise exposure, and high-context problem solving.
