Healthcare's next competitive advantage isn't just better medicine, it's better intelligence. With AI transforming clinical decisions, hospital workflows, patient engagement and healthcare delivery at scale, what began as an experimentation has now become an operational reality.

Recent industry reports highlight the pace of this transformation:

  • 85% of healthcare leaders plan to increase investments in Agentic AI over the next two to three years. (Source: Deloitte Center for Health Solutions, 2026)
  • AI-powered clinical documentation tools have already saved 15,790+ physician documentation hours across 2.5 million patient encounters in just one year. (Source: The Permanente Medical Group analysis, NEJM Catalyst, via AMA)
  • In India, Generative AI is expected to improve healthcare productivity by 30–32% by 2030. (Source: EY, AIdea of India 2025 Report)

As AI, Generative AI and Agentic AI become increasingly embedded across healthcare, professionals are expected to understand not only the technology but also where it can create meaningful clinical and operational value. The question is no longer whether AI will reshape healthcare, but whether today's professionals are prepared to lead that transformation.

Recognising this growing need, IITM Pravartak has launched the Executive Programme in AI-Driven Healthcare Transformation, a 5-month live online programme designed to help healthcare professionals confidently evaluate and apply AI across clinical, operational, digital health, research, and patient-care environments. As a launch offer, healthcare professionals can avail an early bird fee benefit of 8% on programme fees.

Unlike generic AI programmes, the learning experience is built specifically around healthcare applications, enabling participants to:

  • Build AI fluency without becoming AI engineers.
  • Understand the practical use of AI, Generative AI and Agentic AI in healthcare.
  • Evaluate AI opportunities across clinical, operational and patient-care workflows.
  • Translate AI concepts into responsible, real-world healthcare transformation.

For healthcare professionals, this shift represents more than technological change. It is a career opportunity.

Whether supporting diagnosis, improving care coordination, streamlining hospital operations, accelerating research, or enhancing patient communication, AI is becoming an important capability across healthcare organisations. As adoption grows, professionals who understand both healthcare and AI will be increasingly well-positioned to contribute to strategic initiatives, digital transformation, and better patient outcomes.

To help professionals navigate this transition, the programme combines expert-led live learning with practical application and healthcare-specific contexts. Participants benefit from:

  • 100% live online weekend sessions led by domain experts
  • Select live masterclasses by IITM Pravartak faculty across the programme duration
  • An AI-first healthcare curriculum spanning clinical, operational, patient-care and research applications
  • Practical exposure to Generative AI and Agentic AI through healthcare use cases
  • Hands-on experience with relevant AI tools and applied learning
  • An optional two-day campus immersion at IIT Madras Research Park
