• Says JKSSRB recruitment scams must be unfolded

VIJAYPUR:  Apni Party Provincial President, Jammu, and Former Minister, S. Manjit Singh today constantly persists whereas the grab of resources continues in Jammu and Kashmir worrying the future generation about the growing unprecedented unemployment. As per a press release, he said that the unemployment has increased in Jammu and Kashmir whereas there is a need to address the concerns of the educated youth, and growing number of unemployed youths.

He said that the large numbers of posts in various departments are vacant which require a fair recruitment process, but the youth have lost their faith following the past scams in the recruitment process. “The recruitment, which were conducted by the JKSSRB, have come under severe criticism as they allegedly played with the future of the aspirants because of unfair selection process,” he stated.

He asked the Govt to order a probe into the recruitment schemes in Jammu and Kashmir and block the entry of non-local aspirants in Govt jobs of the erstwhile state. Putting a question mark on the selection process of outsiders in Govt jobs, he claimed that “Certain candidates from outside J&K have got Govt jobs in J&K. We strongly condemn the employment to the outsiders ignoring the local youth.”

“The Govt should come clear regarding outsiders getting Govt jobs and grab resources,” he added. Seeking accountability of the JKSSRB, he asked that the Govt must look into the irregularities in the recruitment process and hold the officials accountable. He was speaking during a meeting with the local youth in Vijaypur. These youth had called on the Former Minister seeking his attention towards the burning issues.
