Updesh Andotra said that the people of Kathua take immense pride in preserving this legacy and reaffirmed that the district BJP cadre remains fully committed to carrying forward Dr. Mookherjee's ideals of nationalism, public service, and national integration.

Adv. Vijay Sharma highlighted the historic significance of Kathua, stating that the district occupies a special place in the life and sacrifice of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mookherjee as it was at Lakhanpur where he was arrested while entering Jammu.

On the occasion, Sat Sharma, accompanied by the senior BJP leadership and party workers, also participated in a plantation drive and planted more than 100 saplings, reiterating the party's commitment towards environmental conservation and sustainable development alongside nation-building.
