A significant number of street vendors from these municipalities attended the workshop and actively engaged in the proceedings.

The workshop was organized with the objective of creating greater awareness about the PM SVANidhi Scheme, a flagship initiative of the Government aimed at providing affordable and collateral-free financial assistance to street vendors to help strengthen their livelihoods and improve their socio-economic conditions.

During the programme, various achievements and success stories of beneficiaries from different municipalities were showcased, highlighting the positive impact of the scheme on the lives of street vendors across the district. Beneficiaries shared their experiences regarding access to credit and the opportunities created through the scheme for expanding their businesses and enhancing their incomes.

On the occasion, the ADDC felicitated several beneficiaries with Appreciation Certificates in recognition of their successful utilization of the PM SVANidhi Scheme.

Addressing the gathering, the ADDC lauded the beneficiaries for effectively availing the benefits of the scheme and urged them to act as ambassadors of awareness by sharing their success stories with fellow street vendors. He emphasized that such peer-to-peer motivation would encourage more eligible vendors to avail themselves of the scheme and contribute towards their economic empowerment.

The workshop concluded with a renewed commitment from all stakeholders to intensify awareness campaigns and ensure the effective implementation of the PM SVANidhi Scheme across the district, enabling more street vendors to benefit from the transformative initiative.
