RAJOURI: The Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma, convened a crucial meeting today to address the pressing issues hindering the progress of the Rajouri-Thanamandi-Surankote road project.

During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized the need for swift action to resolve outstanding matters, particularly the assessment of structures at Hasplote and Atti. It was brought into the notice that some of these issues are currently Sub-Judice in court, where a ruling has been issued instructing adherence to the already submitted Detailed Project Report (DPR) concerning the alignment of the project. DC underscored the importance of complying with the court’s directives to facilitate the project's timely advancement.

Addressing the Atti bypass, it was reported that the completion of Section 11 process has been done. However, objections have been raised and submitted.
