ANANTNAG: Administrative Judge for District Anantnag, Justice Rajnesh Oswal, conducted an official visit to the District Court Complex here today to lay the foundation stone for the construction of new Lawyers' Chambers-a pivotal infrastructural upgrade for the district's legal fraternity.

Upon his arrival, He was accorded a ceremonial Guard of Honor. The official proceedings commenced with a welcome address by the Principal District & Sessions Judge (PD&SJ), Anantnag, Tahir Khurshid Raina.

During the program, the Interim President of the District Bar Association, Advocate Peer Shafiq, presented a comprehensive memorandum of demands to the Administrative Judge on behalf of the legal community.

Justice Oswal, in his keynote address,  underscored that the proposed chambers represent more than just architectural growth; they mark a significant milestone in strengthening the justice delivery system by providing essential comfort  and accessibility to both lawyers and litigants.

Addressing the structural and administrative concerns raised by the Bar, Justice Oswal assured the legal community that these matters would be proactively taken up with the local police and civil administration, expressing strong optimism for their prompt resolution.

Following the main event, Justice Oswal presided over interactive administrative sessions, convening first with the judicial officers and subsequently engaging with members of the District Bar Association. The proceedings were attended by senior  officials from the local police and civil administration, reflecting a coordinated approach across the district's judicial and executive branches.
