The inaugural event witnessed enthusiastic participation from key stakeholders including Rajeev Sharma, Member JK Sports Council; Anisa Nabi, Chief Sports Officer; franchise representatives from all six corporate teams, top-tier sponsors, and some of the most passionate sports enthusiasts from across the Valley.

Lauding the initiative, Nuzhat Gul said, “Kashmir Super League is not just a tournament; it’s a transformative movement for football in J&K. By bringing together corporates, youth, and sport on one stage, we are creating a sustainable ecosystem that will inspire a new generation of talent and ambition. This is the future of football in the region, bold, organized, and filled with opportunity.”

The player bidding ceremony marks a significant milestone in the KSL journey, setting the stage for an exciting season ahead where homegrown talent will be matched with professionally managed teams, a first for the region’s football landscape. With match days scheduled to begin soon, Kashmir Super League promises not only high-octane football action but also a renewed sense of hope and energy in the sporting fabric of Jammu & Kashmir.
