BUDGAM: Police in Budgam organized an awareness camp on newly implemented criminal laws at District Police Lines Budgam. The event featured an essay writing competition and a quiz session aimed at familiarizing the youth with recent legal reforms.

The program was chaired by DySP DAR Budgam Shri Ghulam Mohiuddin, accompanied by Inspector Muzamil Ahmad and saw active participation from around 30 to 40 students and faculty members of Spring Buds Educational Institute. Police personnel were also present and engaged in the activities.

The primary objective of the camp was to educate participants about the new criminal laws and highlight their social implications. Through interactive sessions, essay writing and quiz competitions, the event fostered greater understanding of legal matters and encouraged responsible citizenship among students.

Such initiatives by J&K Police play a vital role in bridging the gap between the police and the public, while promoting legal awareness and empowerment in the community.
