AWANTIPORA: As part of the ongoing efforts to curb the growth and spread of wild bhang, J&K Police conducted a wild bhang destruction drive along the Jhelum bund at Dogripora.
The drive was carried out by the Police team headed by IC Police Post Reshipora, with the active participation of the Lumberdar and local residents of Reshipora. During the drive, wild bhang growing along the bund and adjoining areas was identified and destroyed. The participation of local residents reflects the continued cooperation of the community with Police in combating drug related activities and promoting a drug-free environment.
Police appealed to the general public to actively cooperate with the administration and Police in identifying and reporting the cultivation or growth of narcotic plants in their respective areas.
