JAMMU, JALLO CHAK (WARD NO. 68): A grand and spiritually enriching event was organized at the Ravidas Temple in Jallo Chak on the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima. A large number of devotees gathered at the temple to light traditional lamps and offer prayers, aarti, and worship to Sant Shiromani Shri Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj. The temple premises echoed with devotional hymns and chants, creating a deeply sacred atmosphere.

The event was graced by several distinguished guests, including District President Naresh Jasrotia, Convenor (Industry Cell, RS Pura–Jammu South) Naresh Charak, Kujwani Mandal President Ajay Pratap, General Secretary Vikram Charak, and prominent dignitaries Rajkumar, Rajesh Kumar, and Dharmveer.

During the programme, it was announced that sacred soil from the birthplace of Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj in Varanasi is being brought to Jallo Chak. The holy soil will be ceremonially enshrined in a sacred Kalash at the Ravidas Temple.

On the day of the Kalash installation, a grand religious procession and a large-scale devotional programme will be organised, with participation expected from devotees across the region. The event concluded with all attendees reaffirming their commitment to the ideals of truth, equality, love, and brotherhood as preached by Sant Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj.
