KULGAM: For capacity building of YUVA Doots and newly inducted Business Help Desk members, a day-long refresher training program was today organized under Mission YUVA at the Mini-Secretariat, Kulgam. The training aimed to equip YUVA Doots with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively engage with and support aspiring entrepreneurs in their respective panchayats.

Participants were extensively trained in their roles as grassroots motivators, tasked with spreading awareness about various self-employment schemes and facilitating youth engagement at the village and ward levels. A key focus of the training was the significance of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in monitoring the initiative’s impact, ensuring that the YUVA Doots maintain a results-oriented approach in their outreach efforts.

An exclusive hands-on session on the Mission YUVA App and Portal was conducted by the Career Counselling Officer from the District Employment & Counselling Centre, Kulgam. This session enabled the YUVA Doots to familiarize themselves with the technical aspects of the digital platform, enhancing their operational efficiency. The training also covered critical areas such as mobilization techniques, Mission YUVA guidelines, scheme benefits, required documentation and standard reporting formats.

Additionally, an official from the office of the Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC), Kulgam, briefed the participants on the importance of e-governance in empowering grassroots functionaries. The interactive nature of the sessions encouraged active participation, allowing YUVA Doots to seek clarifications, share insights, and contribute suggestions.

With a clear action plan and thorough orientation, the YUVA Doots are now well-prepared to carry forward the ongoing outreach activities under UDYAM Jagriti 3.0 and play a pivotal role in fostering entrepreneurship under Mission YUVA in their designated areas.
