He observed that language serves as a powerful medium for national integration and effective governance, adding that multilingual competence broadens intellectual horizons and facilitates seamless communication across regions. Referring to the NEP -2020, he said the policy accords equal importance to regional, national and international languages, thereby preserving India's linguistic heritage while preparing learners for global engagement.

Stressing the transformative role of technology, he advocated for the development and adoption of bilingual digital tools and innovative software solutions to facilitate official work in Hindi.

In his address, Rajbhasha expert and Advisor, IIHM, Dr. Rajiv Singh, underscored that the promotion of Rajbhasha is not about imposing one language over another but about respecting India's multilingual character while strengthening Hindi as an effective medium of official communication. He said that language should serve as a bridge connecting people rather than creating divisions. He informed the participants that many user-friendly digital platforms are now available for Hindi typing, translation and official correspondence, making the implementation of Rajbhasha easier than ever before.

Speaking on the occasion, University Librarian, Dr. Nazir Ahmad, observed that modern digital technologies have emerged as powerful enablers in promoting the use of Hindi in administration. He elaborated upon various technological innovations including Unicode, Optical Character Recognition (OCR), bilingual keyboards, AI-powered translation platforms, speech recognition systems and virtual language tools, stating that these technologies have substantially simplified multilingual communication. He complimented the employees for their participation in Hindi training programmes and urged them to continue strengthening the culture of bilingual official communication.

Addressing the gathering, Controller of Examinations, Prof. Kaisar Javed, observed that proficiency in Hindi enables employees to discharge their official responsibilities more effectively, particularly in view of the increasing use of bilingual correspondence in government institutions. He stressed that learning multiple languages enhances professional competence and facilitates wider communication in an increasingly interconnected society. He informed the participants that research efforts are underway to develop multilingual translation systems involving Kashmiri, Hindi and English.

Conducting the event proceedings, Hindi Adhikari, Dr. Sakeena Akhter, presented an overview of the University's Rajbhasha implementation initiatives.
