BANDIPORA: As part of the ongoing Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA), district administration Bandipora continues its robust public engagement to tackle the menace of drug abuse through a series of awareness activities. Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Bandipora, Zaffar Hussain Shawl, today flagged-off awareness vehicles from the Mini Secretariat Bandipora, with the rally passing through Hajin and culminating at Sumbal.

This event followed a series of impactful activities and aligned with the 26-day-long awareness campaign being observed across the district. The flagged-off vehicles, adorned with banners and audio-visual messaging, were part of a mobile awareness initiative targeting rural and urban populations alike. The effort aimed to spread the message of a drug-free society among the general public through direct outreach.

Speaking at the flag-off, ADC reiterated the administration’s commitment to eradicating drug abuse from the grassroots. ā€œSustained outreach and community participation are key to creating awareness and changing mindsets. Through these awareness vehicles, we aim to reach every household with the message of hope, prevention, and rehabilitation,ā€ he said. District administration reaffirmed its resolve to continue multi-tiered outreach throughout the campaign, reinforcing its mission to build a healthy, drug-free future for all.
