JAMMU: The third Expenditure Register Accounts Reconciliation Inspection was conducted today by Expenditure Observer, Ashish Yadav along with Assistant Expenditure Observer, Dr Nippun Gupta and the election expenditure monitoring team.

The inspection took place at the PWD Guest House, Gandhi Nagar, as per the notice dated OCTOBER 24, 2025, issued by the Returning Officer, 77-Nagrota Assembly Constituency, for inspection of expenditure registers.

During the meeting, the expenditure registers were thoroughly reconciled, and contesting candidates and their authorised election agents were briefed on the prescribed norms and guidelines related to election expenditure. They were advised to avoid cash transactions and ensure that all financial dealings are made exclusively through the designated Election Expenditure Bank Account within the prescribed expenditure ceiling.
