SRINAGAR: Srinagar Police continues to extend dedicated assistance and support to Pilgrims undertaking the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra-2026, ensuring their safe, secure, and smooth passage through the district.

Comprehensive security, traffic, and facilitation arrangements have been put in place in close coordination with all stakeholder agencies. Police personnel deployed along the Yatra route are providing round-the-clock assistance by regulating traffic, facilitating medical aid, guiding pilgrims, assisting senior citizens, women and children, and responding promptly to any emergency.

Special emphasis has been laid on maintaining law and order, ensuring the seamless movement of Yatra convoys, and providing timely assistance to pilgrims at every stage of their journey. To further strengthen public facilitation, Srinagar Police has established Assistance Booths, Help Desks, and Emergency Response Teams at strategic locations to provide immediate support and address the needs of Pilgrims.

Robust communication mechanisms have also been put in place to disseminate timely traffic advisories, weather updates, emergency information, and other important announcements. Pilgrims are advised to rely only on official information issued by the Administration and Police and to avoid unverified messages circulating on social media.

Police remains committed to serving the pilgrims with professionalism, compassion, and dedication throughout the Yatra. All pilgrims are requested to cooperate with security personnel, adhere to the prescribed advisories, and make full use of the assistance facilities made available for their convenience.

Police reiterates its unwavering commitment to ensuring that Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra-2026 is conducted in a peaceful, secure, and hassle-free manner, enabling every pilgrim to undertake the sacred Pilgrimage safely.
