RAMBAN: As part of the Swachhta Hi Seva 2025 campaign, the 84 Bn CRPF today organized a mass cleanliness drive at District Hospital Ramban and along the banks of the Chenab River.

The drive was led by Commandant  N. Ranbir Singh, Second-in-Command Vikram Singh, Assistant Commandant Roop Ram Meena and more than 50 personnel of the 84 Bn CRPF, along with officials and Safai Mitras of District Hospital Ramban.

During the campaign, the CRPF personnel cleaned the area around the District Hospital, with special focus on the Blood Bank Centre. Activities included cutting overgrown grass, removing polybags and collecting garbage.

Later, a similar drive was conducted along the Chenab River banks, where CRPF personnel collected plastic, polybags and other harmful waste materials to promote the preservation of clean and healthy water bodies.

On the occasion, Commandant N. Ranbir Singh appealed to citizens to actively participate in cleanliness initiatives by keeping their surroundings and public places clean, thereby contributing to a clean, green and prosperous India.

To acknowledge their contribution, the Commandant also distributed gifts and certificates of appreciation to the Safai Mitras of District Hospital Ramban and personnel of the 84 Bn CRPF.
