• Praises Government’s reforms, confident in India’s future as a Global Economic Powerhouse

TAMIL NADU: In a strong endorsement of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address at the Economic Times World Leaders Forum, Senior BJP leader and Rajya Sabha MP, Er Gulam Ali Khatana, emphasized the transformative impact of the government’s reforms on India’s economy and its global standing.

Khatana’s remarks underscore the BJP’s commitment to advancing India’s development agenda and solidify the party’s stance as a driving force behind the country’s ongoing economic transformation.

Echoing the Prime Minister’s message of “Reform, Perform, Transform,” Khatana highlighted how these principles have been pivotal in driving India’s unprecedented growth over the past decade. He praised the government’s focus on inclusive development, pointing to the upliftment of 25 crore people from poverty and the rise of a new middle class as clear evidence of the administration’s success.

“The Prime Minister’s vision for India’s economic future is not just ambitious; it’s achievable,” Khatana stated. “We’ve seen remarkable progress in modernizing infrastructure, supporting MSMEs, and promoting India as a global manufacturing hub. These initiatives are laying the groundwork for India to emerge as a leading global economic powerhouse.”

Khatana lauded the government’s efforts to create a conducive environment for business growth and foreign investment. He emphasized that the ease of doing business reforms, coupled with initiatives like “Make in India” and “Atmanirbhar Bharat,” have significantly boosted India’s appeal as a destination for global manufacturing and investment.

Referring to Prime Minister Modi’s emphasis on green energy, technology, and tourism as pillars of India’s future growth, Khatana expressed confidence in the government’s vision to make India a developed nation by 2047. “Our commitment to sustainable development, coupled with our push for technological innovation, positions India at the forefront of the global transition to a greener, more digital future,” he remarked.

The BJP leader called upon the private sector to partner with the government in this ambitious journey, underscoring the importance of innovation, high-quality growth, and international cooperation in achieving these goals. “The path to becoming a developed nation requires a collaborative effort between the government, private sector, and our international partners,” Khatana stated. “We invite businesses and innovators from around the world to join us in this transformative journey.”

Khatana also highlighted the government’s focus on skill development and education as crucial components of India’s growth strategy. “By empowering our youth with the skills needed for the jobs of tomorrow, we’re not just building a workforce; we're nurturing the innovators and entrepreneurs who will drive India's future success,” he said.

Khatana reiterated the BJP’s unwavering commitment to Prime Minister Modi’s vision of a prosperous, inclusive, and globally influential India. “Under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, India is not just participating in the global economy; we’re shaping it,” he declared. “The reforms and initiatives undertaken by our government have set India on a trajectory of sustainable, inclusive growth that will benefit not just our citizens, but contribute to global prosperity and stability.”

As India continues its ascent on the world stage, the endorsement from senior BJP leaders like Khatana serves to reinforce the party’s alignment with the Prime Minister’s economic vision and its determination to see India realize its full potential as a global economic leader.
