SRINAGAR: J&K BJP General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul addressed a review meeting at S-1, Church Lane, Srinagar, to assess the preparations for the forthcoming Tiranga Yatra and Har Ghar Tiranga programmes and to ensure their effective and successful implementation across Jammu & Kashmir.

The meeting was attended by BJP Jammu & Kashmir General Secretary Mohammad Anwar Khan, BJP Spokesperson Altaf Thakur, and BJP District President Srinagar Adv. Sheikh Salman, along with senior party functionaries.

During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the schedule of programmes, organizational coordination, booth-level participation, public outreach, and arrangements for ensuring the enthusiastic celebration of the national campaign across the region. The leaders reviewed preparations and emphasized close coordination among party workers to ensure maximum public participation.

Ashok Koul, while addressing the meeting, said that the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign has evolved into a nationwide people's movement under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, inspiring every citizen to proudly display the Tricolour and reaffirm their commitment to the unity and integrity of the nation while conveying the message of patriotism, unity, and collective responsibility.

Koul said that the Tiranga is not merely a national flag but a symbol of India's sacrifices, democratic values, and aspirations. He asked party workers to reach every village, ward, and locality to motivate citizens to hoist the National Flag with dignity and respect. He stressed that every BJP worker should actively connect with people at the grassroots level and encourage every household to participate in the campaign with enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. He asked party leaders to ensure that the programmes are conducted in a disciplined, well-coordinated, and inclusive manner across every district, mandal, and booth of Jammu & Kashmir, making the celebrations a true reflection of national unity.

Mohammad Anwar Khan said that the overwhelming response received by the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign in previous years reflects the growing spirit of nationalism among the people of Jammu & Kashmir. He said that people from all sections of society, particularly the youth, are eager to participate in programmes that celebrate India's unity and national pride.

Anwar Khan expressed confidence that the Tiranga Yatra and Har Ghar Tiranga programmes would witness unprecedented public participation across the Union Territory and further strengthen the bond between the people and the nation.
