JAMMU: Rich Harvest School (RHS) celebrated World Environment Day with great enthusiasm and a strong commitment towards environmental conservation by organizing a tree plantation drive in collaboration with the Traffic Police Bari Brahmana.

The event was graced by Inspector Rakesh and his dedicated team from the Traffic Police Department, who joined students, teachers and school authorities in planting saplings within the school campus. The initiative aimed to spread awareness about the importance of preserving nature and creating a greener and healthier environment for future generations.

Addressing the gathering, Inspector Rakesh emphasized the collective responsibility of citizens towards environmental protection and encouraged students to become ambassadors of sustainability by adopting eco-friendly practices in their daily lives.

The students actively participated in the plantation drive and pledged to nurture the saplings planted during the event. The activity served as a meaningful reminder that every tree planted today contributes to a cleaner and greener tomorrow.

Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Anita Bhatia, Head of Institution, remarked, “Environmental conservation begins with awareness and action. Through such initiatives, we aim to instill in our students a lifelong commitment towards protecting nature and building a sustainable future.”

Mrs. Ruchi Charak, Director, Rich Harvest School, appreciated the support extended by the Traffic Police Bari Brahmana and highlighted the importance of community partnerships in creating a positive impact on society. The celebration concluded with a collective pledge to protect the environment and work towards a greener planet, reinforcing the spirit of World Environment Day.
