KULGAM: In a significant step towards enhancing transparency, accessibility, and citizen-centric governance in revenue administration, the Revenue Department, District Kulgam, has successfully completed the digitization of the Jamabandi records as updated up to May 2026.

The digitized Jamabandi records have been uploaded on the Revenue Department's online portal and are now available for public access at https://jkzameensudhar.jk.gov.in Residents of District Kulgam can conveniently view and verify their land records from anywhere without the need to visit Revenue offices.

The District Administration urges all landowners, cultivators, and interested persons to access the portal and carefully examine the entries pertaining to their land holdings. Public participation in verification of revenue records is essential to ensure accuracy and updation of land records.

In case any discrepancy, omission, incorrect entry, or other issue is noticed in the Jamabandi records, citizens may register their grievances directly on the portal. Such grievances shall be examined and addressed by the concerned Revenue authorities in accordance with rules and procedures.

The District Administration reiterates its commitment towards transparent, accountable, and technology-driven governance and encourages all residents to make effective use of this online facility.

We at JK Monitor are profoundly saddened by the sudden demise of our Founding Chairman, Dr. Priya Ranjan.IN LOVING MEMORY Dr Priya Ranjan

A brilliant mind who studied at Netarhat Residential School and graduated in Electrical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur before earning his PhD from the University of Maryland, Dr. Ranjan chose to return to India and dedicate his life to teaching, research and social good.

His pioneering work in networked systems, AI, robotics and biomedical applications—especially computer-vision tools for early detection of cancer and heart disease—reflected his deep belief that advanced technology must serve humanity.

For more than 15 years at JK Monitor, he remained a loyal friend, mentor and collaborator, marked by rare humility, intellectual integrity and quiet generosity.
