  • New outlet at Thikrian main road brings quality tea, traditional snacks, and fresh tandoori cuisine closer to rural belt, benefiting a wider population

R.S. PURA: Senior leader of the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party, Narinder Sharma, today inaugurated the second outlet of the renowned and trusted local brand “Kala Bir Di Hatti” at Thikrian Main Road on R.S. Pura Road. The expansion marks a significant step not only in strengthening the local business ecosystem but also in extending quality food services to the surrounding rural belt.

Addressing the gathering, Narinder Sharma appreciated the dedication and vision of the proprietors for taking their successful venture to new heights. He remarked that such initiatives play a crucial role in generating employment opportunities and stimulating grassroots economic growth. Importantly, he highlighted that the new outlet will greatly benefit residents of nearby villages, who will now have easier access to hygienic, affordable, and delicious food options without having to travel long distances.

He further emphasized that promoting local enterprises helps preserve the region’s rich culinary traditions while simultaneously catering to modern tastes. “Kala Bir Di Hatti,” already a household name in the area, has consistently been known for its quality tea and freshly prepared delicacies, earning the trust and loyalty of customers over time.

The newly inaugurated outlet significantly expands its offerings, featuring early morning specialties such as hot and flavorful Sholay-Puri, crispy samosas, and a variety of traditional sweets. In addition, the introduction of freshly made “nons” (tandoori rotis) adds a new dimension to its menu, making it a convenient and attractive destination for both quick bites and wholesome meals.

Locals, particularly from adjoining rural areas, expressed immense happiness and satisfaction over the opening of the outlet. Many noted that this initiative will serve as a boon for villagers, daily commuters, and workers, who can now conveniently enjoy quality refreshments and meals closer to their homes and workplaces. The event witnessed an enthusiastic participation of community members, reflecting strong public support and appreciation.

Narinder Sharma also called upon the youth to draw inspiration from such entrepreneurial success stories, underlining that self-reliance and small-scale businesses are key drivers of sustainable development, especially in semi-urban and rural regions. The inauguration ceremony concluded on a cheerful note with the distribution of refreshments and lively interactions between the guests and local residents, symbolizing unity, progress, and the growing spirit of enterprise in R.S. Pura and its surrounding rural belt.
