SRINAGAR: As part of the ongoing nationwide observance of ‘Sewa Parv’, J&K Police organized a series of cleanliness initiatives across all police establishments in Srinagar, Ganderbal, Budgam, Pulwama, Anantnag, Bandipora, Kupwara, Baramulla, Kulgam, Shopian, Awantipora & Handwara. This occasion commenced with the administration of the Swachhta Pledge, reaffirming the commitment of police personnel towards cleanliness, hygiene, and a cleaner environment in line with the vision of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. These activities were aimed at fostering community involvement and promoting hygiene and environmental responsibility.

These drives witnessed active participation of police officers and officials at all levels, who collectively undertook cleaning of office premises, police establishments, and surrounding areas. These initiatives were aimed at promoting hygiene, environmental responsibility, and public service in line with the objectives of Sewa Parv.

Moreover, Police teams reached out to the local community, engaging shopkeepers, youth, and residents to raise awareness on the importance of sanitation, hygiene, and sustainable living. This community-driven approach embodied the spirit of Seva Parv, underscoring the values of service, responsibility, and partnership. On these occasions, senior police officers highlighted that such initiatives not only ensure a clean and healthy environment in workplaces but also inspire community members to adopt cleanliness as a collective responsibility.

J&K Police remains committed to promoting cleanliness, public welfare, and citizen-centric policing. Such initiatives foster greater awareness among personnel and the community, and help build a cleaner and healthier environment for all.
