AWANTIPORA: Police Station Tral conducted a Cyber Awareness Programme aimed at sensitising the general public and respectable citizens about the growing threat of cybercrime and its implications.
During the programme, participants were briefed about various forms of cyber fraud, online scams, phishing, identity theft and other cyber related threats. They were advised to remain vigilant while using digital platforms and to safeguard their personal, financial and sensitive information.
The participants were also encouraged to promptly report any suspicious cyber activity or online fraud to the police and concerned cybercrime authorities. The programme highlighted the importance of collective awareness and responsible digital behaviour in preventing cybercrime.
