JAMMU: BJP SC Morcha today organized a Swachhata Abhiyan at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Chowk, Jammu as a part of the ongoing Seva Pakhwada celebrations marking the 75th birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The programme was led by SC Morcha President and DDC Bishnah, Dharminder Kumar, who was joined by DDC Marh Balbir Lal, DDC Miran Sahib Vidhya Mottan, Seema Devi, Mohinder Bhagat, Raj Kumar Bhagat, Hans Raj Loria, G.R. The event began with the ritual cleaning of the statue of Bharat Ratna Baba Saheb Dr. B.R. Ambedkar with water and milk, followed by floral tributes in his honour. Subsequently, the entire park area was cleaned under the drive, symbolizing the commitment of the Morcha to both cleanliness and respect for great national leaders.

Speaking on the occasion, Dharminder Kumar said that the Seva Pakhwada is not just a celebration, but a reminder of our duty towards society. Inspired by the vision of Prime Minister Modi ji, we are committed to service, cleanliness, and welfare-oriented activities that uplift the community and carry forward the legacy of Baba Saheb, he said.

It was also resolved during the programme to organize a series of events in the coming days, including a Health Camp, Blood Donation Camp, “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” plantation drive, Swachhata Abhiyan, and a Viksit Bharat painting competition as part of the Seva Pakhwada activities.
