Advertise all the vacant posts to the recruitment agencies for fair and transparent recruitment process in Jammu and Kashmir. During a meeting in Samba’s Bari Brahmana, and Vijaypur, the Former Minister voiced his concern over the educated youth indulging in drug addiction and other illegal activities because of poor chances of employment in Govt as well as private sector.

In these election campaign meetings, he said that if the Party forms the next Govt in J&K, it will launch a recruitment drive in villages along the International Border and Line of Control to recruit the aspiring youth in army, paramilitaty and J&K Police because the border residents play an important role to combat terrorism, and defend the nation's borders.

Meanwhile, the Former Minister emphasized upon the people to cast their votes in large numbers to replace the present form of Govt that has undermined the people, and the public representatives. “The anger among the people had been brewing for the last several years because of the alleged repressive policies adopted by the authorities in implementing unilateral and anti - people policies,” he stated.

He said that unemployment has emerged as a major issue which has affected thousands of lives of the youngsters in Jammu and Kashmir who appeared in the recruitment exams conducted for different posts, but that turned out to be scams. “The future of the educated youth in J&K apparently became uncertain as many were overaged because of delay in declaring the recruitment exams or cancellation of the exam results in the wake of alleged scam and allegations of nepotism,” he said, questioning the integrity of the recruitment agencies.

He further said that if the Apni Party forms the next Govt in Jammu and Kashmir, it would ensure fair and transparent recruitment for the job aspirants and employment opportunities would be explored in other sectors that include industries and tourism. He pointed out about the poor response of the Tourism Department towards the promotion of religious sites in Samba district where tourism can be promoted, and infrastructure in these sites of religious importance can be developed.

“It appears that the authorities are not interested in developing infrastructure, and tourism in Samba,” he said, and raised questions about the drug addiction / drug peddling incidents in Samba district. He asked the police to curb such acts as they have given rise to multiple criminal activities. Meanwhile, he was informed by the locals, who attended the meeting, that no developmental activity has taken place in the district.

“Many projects are still incomplete and require adequate funds. However, the authorities are not serious. As far as basic amenities are concerned, they too, are missing in many areas,” he added, while making a plea to the people to vote and support the Apni Party candidates in their respective constituencies.
