SAMBA: In a vibrant celebration of local artisanship and cultural heritage, the Handicrafts and Handloom Department Samba, today organized a one-day exhibit of the region's heritage crafts in the premises of the DC Office Complex, Samba.

The exhibit, which drew considerable attention, highlighted the exquisite skills of artisans dedicated to preserving and promoting indigenous crafts such as calico printing, bamboo and wheat straw crafts, and the traditional handloom weaves of Samba. Modern forms of craftsmanship, including macrame, crochet and canvas work, were also featured, reflecting the evolving artistic landscape of the region.

Adding to the festive spirit of Raksha Bandhan, the exhibit showcased eco-friendly bamboo, crochet and other handmade Rakhis, which garnered admiration for their intricate designs. The exhibit was well-received by visitors, who left with a deeper appreciation for the unique crafts of the region and the skillful hands behind them.

Your voice can reach the world: At JK Monitor, we firmly believe that every well-researched idea has the power to inspire change beyond geographical boundaries.
