National Conference announces key appointments in Jammu Province ahead of Assembly elections

JAMMU:  Provincial President Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Jammu Province Mr Rattan Lal Gupta with the approval of the Party President Dr. Farooq Abdullah has been nominated Mr Raj Kumar Sharma as District President Reasi. Mr Sher Singh has been nominated as Senior Vice President.

Mr Tirath Ram has been nominated as District President Billawar (organizational Phari District). This has been done in view of ensuing Assembly elections in these two districts to function with close coordination and strengthen the party units in the respective districts.

His pioneering work in networked systems, AI, robotics and biomedical applications—especially computer-vision tools for early detection of cancer and heart disease—reflected his deep belief that advanced technology must serve humanity.

For more than 15 years at JK Monitor, he remained a loyal friend, mentor and collaborator, marked by rare humility, intellectual integrity and quiet generosity. His passing leaves a void that cannot be filled. Priya, you will be deeply missed. Your life continues to remind us that knowledge finds its highest purpose in the service of others.
