JAMMU: Senior BJP leader & Former State General Secretary Munish Sharma alongwith BJP District President Reasi Rohit Dubey convened a key review meeting on the ongoing membership drive (Sangathan Parv) at Reasi BJP office today. The meeting was attended by MLA Reasi Kuldeep Raj Dubey, Sheel Mgotra, Sardar Pardeep Singh, Choudhary Akram, Pawan Dev Singh and other senior leaders of the party.

While addressing the gathering, Munish Sharma said that as we all know that the party's membership drive is going on, we have to do the membership drive vigorously, we have to go door to door at the booth level, holding workshops on the enrolment process and ensure maximum membership registrations. Only those who have at least 50 members in their records can become the active member of the party.  A three-member committee will also be formed under the chairmanship of the District presidentship to oversee the enrolled members. He added.

Munish Sharma urged the Party leaders to rejuvenate the party’s membership drive with enthusiasm, targeting youth and women in the region by sparing at least two hours a day towards enrolling new members.  Besides making door-to-door visits encouraging people to join the party, and carry forward all developmental activities programmes and policies of the Modi Govt at the grass root level during the Abhiyan.  With only 13 days remaining, Sharma laid stress to Elected representatives, Senior leaders, office-bearers, and cadres to improve efforts by setting the individual target to enroll the new members.
