BANDIPORA: As part of Vigilance Awareness Week, Police in Bandipora organised pledge-taking ceremonies at police establishments across the district to reaffirm its commitment to integrity, transparency and accountability in public service.
The main ceremony was held at DPL Bandipora, where SSP Bandipora Shri Tahir Saleem-JKPS, administered the integrity pledge to police officers and jawans. The participants pledged to uphold the highest standards of honesty and integrity while discharging their official duties, refrain from offering or accepting bribes, and actively oppose all forms of corruption.
The pledge also highlighted the importance of ethical conduct, accountability and transparency in public service, emphasising the collective responsibility of every individual in preventing corrupt practices and promoting good governance.
Similar ceremonies were held at various police establishments across District Bandipora, with police personnel reiterating their commitment to maintaining professional integrity and ensuring transparent, honest and accountable public service.
