Kissan Samparak Abhiyan 3.0 launched in Poonch

  • Receives massive response from farmers on Day one

POONCH: Government’s flagship programme Kissan Sampark Abhiyan-3.0(KSA 3.0) under HADP was launched in different panchayats of Poonch district. The abhiyan was launched under the instructions and overall guidance of Deputy Commissioner Poonch Yasin M.Chowdhary. The purpose of KSA 3.0 is to Create and increase awareness about HADP and expedite the implementation of 29 projects for the welfare of the farming community.

 The orientation training programs for farmers were conducted simultaneously at 13 avenues across 11 blocks. The training was imparted to the farmers by the resource persons of Agriculture, Horticulture, Sheep, Animal Husbandry and other allied sectors. District Nodal Officer KSA, Chief Agriculture Officer, Chief Animal Husbandry, AGMO urged the resource persons to lay special focus on credit linked schemes and purpose of open Kissan Khidmat Ghars (KKGs).the District nodal officers KSA called upon all the stakeholders to come together to ensure the effective implementation of a holistic agriculture development program.

A brilliant mind who studied at Netarhat Residential School and graduated in Electrical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur before earning his PhD from the University of Maryland, Dr. Ranjan chose to return to India and dedicate his life to teaching, research and social good.

His pioneering work in networked systems, AI, robotics and biomedical applications—especially computer-vision tools for early detection of cancer and heart disease—reflected his deep belief that advanced technology must serve humanity.

For more than 15 years at JK Monitor, he remained a loyal friend, mentor and collaborator, marked by rare humility, intellectual integrity and quiet generosity. His passing leaves a void that cannot be filled. Priya, you will be deeply missed. Your life continues to remind us that knowledge finds its highest purpose in the service of others.
